No there aren’t many Portuguese speaking people here, 468 from Portugal, 3 from Angola, 9 from Mozambique and 79 from Brazil.
All tourism related jobs value any foreign language you may know. Still there aren’t that many Portuguese speaking tourists, so unless the company specializes in Portuguese, the language by itself isn’t that much of asset. Even when I worked as a guide I only spoke Portuguese with clients once every month or so. Aventuras árticas (http://www.aventurasarticas.es/) is run by a Portuguese friend of mine. They focus mostly on Spanish markets, but also a bit on Portuguese.
